The core curriculum is the backbone of the program. Healing doesn't happen through talk therapy alone, so each of the four complementary care areas below is woven into the 52-week program as its own dedicated session, offering mothers additional ways to process, release, and reconnect alongside the clinical work.

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Memphis, Tennessee, founded to serve the family members that addiction and mental illness leave standing alone. The Healed Mom is our signature program, developed by women, for women.
Recovery Reprieve exists because of a gap that decades of research have documented and almost no service has closed. When a child develops a substance use disorder or a serious mental illness, the entire treatment system organizes itself around that child. The mother who holds the family together through it is counted as a support, never as a patient, and is rarely offered anything of her own.
Our work is to change that. We build and deliver clinically grounded, trauma-informed programs for mothers affected by a child's addiction, co-occurring disorder, mental health crisis, or death, including loss to overdose, suicide, and violence. We measure what we do with validated instruments, we report what we find honestly, and we hold our own claims to the standard we would expect of anyone else.
As a 501(c)(3) public charity, we are funded by individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and our EIN appears on every donation receipt.
Your investment restores families and helps break cycles of trauma for generations.

If you're in a position to help us bring this to more mothers who need it, through a gift, a partnership, or just a conversation about what's possible, I'd love to talk." Dr. Scherri Culp
